Gissing, Church of St Mary, Norfolk - Heritage Lottery Funded Project

The round tower church of Gissing dates from the 10th or 11th century.

The church comprises a Nave, Chancel, north (Kemp) and south (Vestry) Chapels flanking the Chancel, a North Porch and a round three stage west Tower.

The north Chapel contains a fine collection of monuments to the Kemp Family who were Lords of the Manor from 1324 until the early 20th century.
