Gissing St Mary’s Church – Celebrating near-completion 2018

Gissing, St Mary’s Church is celebrating near-completion of the works with a series of summer events.

‘In 2016, St Mary’s Church, in Gissing, near Diss received a £208,000 grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund to allow some much needed repairs to be carried out on the building’s rare and historic roof.

Now, in order to promote the church and to encourage visitors to see the buildings unique interior the church will be holding a series of events throughout the summer.’
